Looking for a vehicle for my father, found this one on Craigslist. Looks like a good deal but what the hell is OTC Motors Depot (www.otcmotorsdepot.com)??? I am allowed to view the vehicle but it's located 270 miles away and the seller offered to ship it to me. It's hard to buy sight unseen. Anyone heard of it or used it? |

We purchased a car from OTC Motors Depot in 2014 and the experience back then was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I didn't think it was possible, but this time it was an even better experience. From the time we got there to the time we left, every associate was very friendly and courteous. |

Selling my vehicle at OTC Motors Depot was pretty simple and the valuation was alright, except I don't like the money-upfront deal. I'd like that I'd pay them a little more money if the thing got sold. The other thing is I didn't necessarily care for if we didn't get it sold the first go-round. It would cost a little more money the second go-round, and then if they wouldn't have offered that last week truly for free, I wouldn't have done it because that would have been just as much commission if they would have sold it, after sale. But I got a better price than I would have at the auction. The customer service was alright, too. I didn't have any problems. Overall, they're good. |

I've
beat out several guys who were just too cautious for their own good.
Once I scored a complete 56 Fury for $500. Another couple of times I
bought two 56 Plym converts from NY and from PA. I recently sold a 55
Plym convert for $10.5K to a guy in VA that never saw anything but
pictures. Not everything or everyone is a scam, you gotta learn to
distinguish who's a player and who isn't. As for the website i checked with google and it's for real |

of my three "classics" were bought sight unseen and the third I was
able to get my cousin to go look at. In all three cases the sellers
were honest. Some more honest then others but even the worst guy was
still basically honest, just a little less forthcoming on issues he knew
about. I do think that most of the time you can 'tell' if someone is
trying to pull something over on you. But you can never be 100% sure
when dealing from afar. |
